Anyone know the way and how far it is to Kilfenora from Shannon airport.Ok smart---- sure I can get a map! Is there any public transport, if not anyone know the taxi fare. Maybe its just as well to hire a car even. Any suggestions? Be gentle with me!!!
I think a car is pretty much essential. You don't want to be stuck in kilfenora all day. There is so much to do and see round about. And if you want to go to sessions in Doolin, Ennistymon, Lisdoonvarna etc you won't be able to do it on public transport. It's 1hr 15 mins by car from Shannon to Kilfenora. Thats the best bet if you can afford it. A small car is about 200 Euros a week. Check the prices on Auto Europe.

You do want to get around. Kilfenora is pretty much dead during the day (and during the night probably as well)
