Re: How many langers at the session?

I suppose since they've gone off the boil at the Hurling, they must have plenty of time for this crack.

Re: How many langers at the session?

Wikipaedia says ".....pride also manifests itself as arrogance, the act of obtaining rights or advantages, including vainglorious or rhetorical advantages, sometimes through violence or threat of violence, or through verbal violence."

Re: How many langers at the session?

I love Kilkenny also they are the best hurling team in the country and deserve to be champs. Anyone who thinks otherwise is mad. Cork people can be graceful in defeat

Re: How many langers at the session?

It's a Cork term, often one of abuse.
I lived there 7 years, so I have a bit of a connection, but I'm not "from" there, whatever that is.

Re: How many langers at the session?

TommyB the British Empire couldn't defeat the Rebel County so you had some chance.

Re: How many langers at the session?

Up the Rebels! I suppose the "Langer Song" could be classed under ITM,

"how many other "cute cork hoors "at the session.org?"

TommyB - I reckon you're an imposter. If you were a real Corkman you'd recognise them by their accents.

Re: How many langers at the session?

Spoon -
Well you know what they say spoon about the Welsh, they were the Irish who couldn't swim!
I am as Cork as tripe and drisheen and pigs crubeens, pints of Baymish and Murphys and Cathy Barry, Christy Ring and you can't bate that boi!
But I wouldn't blame anybody for pretending they are from Cork..
