Thanks, Dónall. This is kind of embarassing for me, because I should have recognised it. "Niel Gow's lament for his brother" is one of the first tunes that I learned on the fiddle, off Swarbrick's version of it with Ruaidhrí of the Hills. Can I use the different tempo and alternative figures as an excuse?

An ghé agus grá gheal ID
Can anyone tell me what the last tune of the set called "An ghé agus grá gheal" on Chieftains 5 is? Any help greatly appreciated.

It’s a tune called ‘The Gallowglass’, which is a rather jolly Irish double jig version of Niel Gow’s Lament for his Brother, published in 1792.
