Re: Is John Blake(Brendan Mulkere's student) a good flute teacher?
I don't know how good John is in a teaching situation, but the man can certainly play the flute (and a few other instruments) quite well. In fact, if you have current contact info for him, please pass it along to me.

That is a superb album. Echoing Kevin, if his teaching is as good as his playing you'll have backed a winner. BTW Marek, listening to your clips, sounds like you're good enough anyway - what more could he teach you?
Re: Is John Blake(Brendan Mulkere's student) a good flute teacher?
Well thanks I've played ITM for a few years now, but my main istrument was a low D whistle. I'm new to the wooden flute as I've had it for two weeks now. I need to learn to operate the flute, not to learn to play ITM, although I know that I'll never stop learning ITM because an artist who says "I know everything' is a full and is finnished
Anyway I just need a flute teacher. The best option for me would be Matt Molloy but I cant move out of Dublin because I work here. I found John Blake through the Pipers club where I think he works, and only then I found out who he is...
