Yes. Please put your name on it ( so long as you're a UK voter ). The Licensing Act did get slightly improved after intensive lobbying, but it is still a repressive and inappropriate act.
Already signed - I get so annoyed that sessions and the like are restricted but most of the problems locally come from nightclubs, discos and theme bars with plasma TVs . We have yet to have a session ending with the road being cordoned off by police in order to contain a brawl!!
Maybe my head is in the clouds but what is this rule Len? Is it in place now or still under consideration or what? Havent noticed any changes! Guess its just you and Derek in the Anchor this August!
Thank you, len, for your posting of that info, but it's giving me a complex!
I have now tried twice to post a comment on that site, but each time my aging iMac choses to crash the moment I hit the "submit" button. Don't they want my pithy wit ?

No, but I suspect your session does not make secret donations, sorry loans, to New Labour.

Hi Newty (Nigel?)

gives some info. I would hope that the Sidmouth pubs will have got there act together. I have heard that a pub in Dorset has already fallen foul of this act. See you in the summer I hope.

Re: Two-in-a-bar Downing St petition
Yet another example of draconian government by the puppet ruler of GB. What ever happened to commonsense?
