This seems to be a 'Daves only' discussion.
A bit further afield, there's the White Horse, Mare St., Bethnal Green on a Tuesday night. It's not one for people who have to get up early for work on a Wednesday, as it usually starts after ten and continues well into the small hours.
I must confess, I don't make a habit of going to the White Horse, since I live in Ealing - anyone who has ever tried to get to Ealing from Bethnal Green on public transport at 2.30am will understand what I mean. Perhaps I'll make the effort this once, just for the opportunity of meeting somebody from The Session in the flesh.
Session on at Tir Na Og in Garret lane on Sat nites......starts about 9 pm goes on late....great crowd and no big egos...garret lane is in wandsworth sw 18

Aha!! I DO NOT have to get up early on Wednesday's so maybe see you there next week and we can replace the Monty Python Bruce sketch with Daves,David
Although, I must confess that Tuesday nights in Greenwich is the trad. English music session but I'll give Bethnal Green a try.
