Does anyone know if Johnny Connolly or his Son Johnny 'Og' will be in the Galway area (Tigh Hughes -Spiddal maybe?) next month? He used to played at Tigh Huges but since he has become much popular, I do not know if he still plays at TH's anymore. If anyone knows where and when Feb 12-23, 2007, I will be there! Oh to buy him a pint would be like honoring The King".

Johnny senior plays in Hughes' every Thursday and Saturday nights, and I think they both play with Charlie Lennon on Sunday evenings. Not sure what time the Sunday evening one starts, 7 or 8pm I think. Great musicians both, love playing with them!
So what you are telling me is Johnny Senior plays at Hugh's on Tueday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday nights?!! Is this year round or only certain times of the year? I woul hate to be there February 12 - 23 and Johnny Senior (or Charlie Lennon) not be there then. Oh, I don't want to even think that, I may cry : (
