Do you mean those great wide things with enormous brass buckles on that used to knock hell out of the varnish on your instrument ? I hated them. All the straps on my heavy ( solid ) instruments are non-adjustable, wide leather belt lengths that have the smallest possible hole to fit on the strap button, and never come off. Once you've seen a valuable instrument fall off its strap you don't want it to happen to yours.
I just got a new one for a new instrument, just bought a belt length for a fiver at a folk festival last summer. It looks nice on the mahogany-bodied tele.
Need a stretchy Bass/ Guitar Strap: where?
Need a stretchy Bass/ Guitar Strap: where?
Back in the 80's stretchy, conformable straps were common.. I can't find them now anywhere. They were great for heavy instruments. Any ideas?
