I have heard a tune at sessions that I know as the song "Sean South from Garryowen". What is the name of the session tune. Sorry if I have missed it in the Tunes Section.
It's also known as Roddy McCorley (a rebel from an earlier era) and is a march which probably accounts for it not being in the tunes section. Maybe a Google search would find it as a song.
I've added the melody in the Tunes Section at http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/6673/comments. Personally I feel the odd march or two can make a nice contrast at a session. Roddy McCorley goes well with the Foggy Dew as a follow-up tune.
Thanks Will, I am certain I heard "The Reel Of Rio" a thousand times played on the box but not like 'that', and I must say that way is by far a better way!
