I noticed that radio 4 is putting out a history of the banjo, on the 23 Jan for anyone who is interested.

Remarkable for it's TOTAL lack of Irish style tenor banjo content, how can they do a programme about the history of the banjo and ignore people like Barney McKenna, Mick Moloney, Gerry O'Connor, Kieran Hanrahan and all the other fine players ?
