Seriously though, your band must play a lot of fairly straight forward tunes already if you normally play for ceilis/ceilidhs. Your regular fiddler would probably be able to advise best.
Miss Monaghan's Reel, Rolling in the Ryegrass, the Wind that Shakes the Barley, and the Humours of Tulla are all great, easy reels - in the sense of 'great' as having value and weight, not only being fun. There's also a relatively new addition to this site, 'Your Welcome Home', which Fiddlinviolin put up and taught to me last week; it's short, simple and delicious to hear.
Try Calliope House. It's not exactly a reel; it's more of a jig, and it's not extremely easy, but I can play it (rather badly, mind - ) with only two days of violin behind me.
Easy reels for fiddle
Easy reels for fiddle
Our fiddler has a sore shoulder and our other fiddler is a bit of a novice. So what are some good easy reels that a person could play for a Ceili?

Tunes are only easy if you know them!
