Hi Rip, I have a Vega Little Wonder 17 fret, made mid 1920's. I'm using it in work just to do a bit of practicing/messing around on.

Haven't had any thoughts of selling it 'yet'... but when I do... Again only problem is I'm in N. Ireland.

I guess that people who own a Hathaway mando enjoy it too much to want to sell it on. I have a friend with one of his "Guizoukis", and he wouldn't sell it for the world, went into a shop just looking, and came out having spent much more than he had intended. The cheapest way to get one would be to go to the man direct, not to buy through a shop. Hey, but you still have to pay for the man's skill, you know.

In the catalogue I have mandolins run from £395 to £575. Doesn't seem excessive to me for a hand-built instrument.

I have a 16-fret Little Wonder with a 12 inch pot I'd be willing to sell. I'm in Michigan, USA. If you're still interested, let me know.
