Does anyone know where i could hear good piping tunes in belfast or in driving distance of belfast. So that it wouldnt be so bad to drive there and back in a night.
You've just missed a huge piping festival organised by the Armagh Pipers (bout 45 mins drive) . The club is big in \armagh though. There is also a club in Belfast but I can't re
member where they meet - might be a Comhaltas branch I think. Will try to find out and let you know.
Your moniker reminds me of a kerfuffle in the world of archaeology some years ago when someone claimed to have found a Roman fort in Ireland; I assume nothing came of it. (At least one Governor of Britain, Agricola, pondered invading, but had second thoughts.)
