Any trad music events in Ireland or Scotland around April 1?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!

I will be in the UK (Cambridgeshire area) the first week of April 2007, and I was wondering if there were any trad music events going on in the UK or Ireland either just before or just after that time. I have some flexibility in scheduling my trip, so I was thinking about taking a side trip to either Scotland or Ireland.

Also, what is the session scene like in London -- I see a lot of them listed.

The scene in London is very vibrant. I sampled only a few sessions, but I'd say it's hard to find a better place for Irish music even in Ireland.

slainte, thanks -- the links are useful. I know some people here in the Washington DC who have been to sessions in London, and I will ask again as the time for my trip approaches.

Yes - we always have a session at the top of Slemish in Co Antrim every 1st of April.

Breandan, thanks for the information. Unfortunately, I will be in Cambridgeshire on the 1st itself. Is this an annual one, and is it literally on top of Slemish mountain?
