Hey anyone going to the Frankie Kennedy Festival needs to read this which I got in an email from the organisers of the Frankie Kennedy Winter School.
'We are not holding a public event on New Year's Eve this year. We are having a get together for the teachers and any of the students who would like to come along and also for those who have purchased the concert package and would like to join us.'
So that will leave a lot of people with a problem on New Years. So why don't we try and organise a big New Years session somewhere. Any takers?

Bit of a bummer, that, but I'm sure we can organise our own madness. There'll be loads of people who are only there for a few days so it's not like we'll be short of numbers.

Well Hudí Beags isn't an option, I went there last year because I had no ticket for the Ceilí. It was absolutely jammed and there was a band playing ye good ole country and pop hits.
We could either try the Derrybeg hotel or the newly reopened An Chuirt now also known as the Gweedore Court Hotel.
Failing that there's always the chance of a house party!
We'll figure something out, everyone knows Conán so lets just rely on him to organise it..........On second thoughts Conán would be late for his own funeral, so maybe someone else should do it.

Well I'm wondering if An Chúirt might operate a residents only policy... I would be inclined to go for the Derrybeg - go with what you know. Mind you, I'm staying in the Seaview!
