I'm assuming (dangerous, I know) that you're referring to the Buddy Jig in D found on the "Road to the Isle" album that Natalie recorded as a teenager and not to the tune in G found in the tune section on this site. If so, you can find a bit of info here:
This link will take you to a great site with a wealth of info on CB albums. If we're talking about the same tune, nobody else seems to have recorded it yet.
THat's the one! Thanks so much, and THANK YOU for that site....I have been struggling to find a good solid listing of cape breton fiddlers. I need to expand my listening outside of MacMasters and MacIsaacs!!
I love the Cape Breton sound - The Natalie MacMaster cd "a compilation" has been played over and over (that's got the Buddy Jig on it). I recently got Cóisir - House Party by Máire O'Keeffe which is very Cape Breton influenced. I also like WinstonFitzgerald - I bought the book of his tunes from Cranford Publications. Also there's Andrea Beaton http://www.andreabeaton.com/bio.htm and Lisa MacArthur http://www.cranfordpub.com/recordings/LisaMcA.htm%20
Natalie MacMaster - A buddy jig
