Sharon Shannon Big Band......Guitarist?

Just seen the Sharon Shannon gig at Dolans on TG4.......I thought it was great. The lad playing the nylon string guitar was excellent.......anybody know who he is?

Haven't seen that, but I would be confident in guessing that it's Jim Murray, nylon strings and all.

I used to go to Rosscarberry in West Cork. Wasn't too difficult to work out. The old joke about the modest Corkman "only thinks he is as good as anyone else"

Then I agree with the thread from a few days ago....Jim Murray is the best guitarist (IMHO)!!

I am heading to Roscarberry after Christmas for a few days....can't beat it with a big stick :-)

O donavan rossa is skibb. Carberry Rangers senior football since last year are Roscarberry but close. Im also not fond of dubs.

Rossa was born in Rosscarberry. I hurled once for Carberry Rangers, hurling not being a forte in West Cork.
