Sad news ,phone calls ,texts just coming in now that Flute /fiddle player Felim Ó Raghallaígh Co Meath died today ,
he is a brother of concertina man Mícheál Ó Raghallaígh ,and of the well known musicial Ó Raghallaígh Family ,
it was sudden and i dont have any more details ,
Felim and his family were playing on last Sunday nights "Geantrai" for TG4 ,the show is to be repeated tonight Tuesday 8pm .thoughts with his wife,Yvonne + the 2 kids and the Ó Raghallaígh Clan .Yvonne is sister of Piper, Ivan Goff Martin

Yes Martin, this is extremely sad news and such a shock. The removal will be held on Friday at 6.30pm and funeral Saturday morning after 11am mass. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis, ceolmhar.

Antoin MacGabhann gave me the following details for contacting the family. Felim was his first fiddle student in Antoin's Ashbourne home.
Felims parents are Padraig and Maire Ó Raghallaigh, Barr a Tulaigh, Rathmoylan Co Meath. The family are Nóra (fiddle), Áine (fiddle), Micheál (concertina) and Mac Dara (fiddle). Felim was married to Yvonne (Goff) and they have two children Pádraig (7) and Sorcha (6). Felim was 41.
