I'm always mystified that people think musicians are going to like stuff that essentially degrades what they're passionate about. Thanks for sharing the link, though - certainly entertaining!!
BegF - No need to take offence. This is liberating you, the guitarist, from those defective mango-crates that pass for guitars these days. I'm all for it - waste not, want not, I say. An old maracca could make a rather attractive ballcock, don't you think? A bodhran tipper as a flush lever? A djembe with the skin removed for the toilet bowl itself?
I'm not sure I could use that musical toilet paper, though. I'd end up stashing it away in my tune collection.
Elderly Instruments in Michigan used to have hanging on the wall an electric guitar made from a toilet seat – the lid functioned as a tremolo. Wonder if its still there.
I’ve been thinking of submitting “The Green Apple Quickstep” to the tunes section. Or at least “Skip to my Loo”.
