HI Kaxxx, I'm not in NI, but I ordered My (14.5" x 6.5") bag through The Music Room. They are in Yorkshire and can get you one made up and sent mail order. Good quality bag. Good luck....Curlew.
Try music shops that sell soft bags for DRUM KITS. I use an "Xtreme Bag" for a snare drum and it's big enough for my 16 x 7" drum. Get them to check the catalogs for sizes.
This subject got me very excited until I worked out it was just something to put a bodhran in. I flog lots of bodhran bags with an advertisement for meself on both sides for AU $35.00.
Makes yer wonder doesn't it?
Hi Kaxxx
I play a 15 inch drum that's 5 and a half inches deep. My local music shop fitted me up with a padded snare case with a pocked, handle and backstraps that my drum and tippers and stuff fit in perfectly. Ideal for taking on my bike to the session. It's a Stagg S14/65 STD.

Bodhran Bags
Hi, i recently bought a 15" Paul MaAuley bodhran but due to the depth of the rim (5 and a half ") he only has 18" available and a bit too big for use.
Does anyone know of any local guys (northern ireland)that make or sell these?
