New CD of manx traditional music (and a tiny bit of Irish!)
New CD of manx traditional music (and a tiny bit of Irish!)
Hello. Apologies if this is the wrong place to advertise the CD (I didn't really think it was an event), but I figured I'd try out my new marketing skills. I've just recorded a CD with the schwester called Tree Baatyn Beggey (translates as Three Little Boats - a joke because the tune of the same name is our answer to the Kesh - i.e. overplayed . If you would like to listen to a couple of tracks to decided whether to buy it or not, then please visit our myspace at http://www.myspace.com/kirstyandkatielawrence and if by any chance you do want to hear more, then send me a message via myspace or yessir_1980@hotmail.com and your address and I will send you a copy for the princely sum of £12.50 including p+p. This is our only way of advertising off island at the moment until I get the time (i.e. half term!) to send a few copies off to some people. Cheers!

Congratulations! For US distribution, try CDBaby. I happen to think they're the best for independent artists. It's quick and easy for the artist and for the customer. http://cdbaby.com http://cdbaby.net/submit
Full disclosure statement: No affiliation as an artist but I buy a lot from them.

Hi,
Congratulations on the new CD!
I'll second the recommendation of CDBaby. It's been a very good vehicle for our CD and it's wonderfully easy to use. The folks there are wonderfully helpful, too.

Congratulations and well done! Lovely music.
It wouldn't do any harm to send Aidan Crossey a copy to review (if I can take the liberty of mentioning him here, assuming he still does reviews - email him first.)

While you're resting ManxFiddle, how about posting it in with a track list in the Recordings section?

Job done. Posted in the recordings section - the 5 Irish tunes are clickable links now. I'll try and sort the manx trad tunes out for you.
