On the Chieftains CD "An Irish Evening," during the last track "Rachamid a Bhean Bheag," each musician plays a solo. There is a lovely flowing jig played on whistle--does anyone know the name of that jig?
Yeah, that's one thing that makes this challenging--with the exception of Roger Daltry and and Nanci Griffith's solos, the solos aren't listed in the track list.
In case anyone else is looking and sees this, it's a "spruced up" setting of Tatter Jack. Pretty different from the one we play in session, but great playing.
ID a tune from "An Irish Evening?"
