Midnight in Moscow

Midnight in Moscow

There are no sessions listed for Russia - can that be because there are none?
Or would there be anyone around next week in Moscow who is up for a tune, not necessarily Irish?

Re: Midnight in Moscow

Searching on 'Moscow' in the members database gives 5 returns. Try emailing them.

Re: Midnight in Moscow

...you know, Midnight in Moscow is a great tune and I wouldn't be surprised to hear it turn up in a session sometime...

Re: Midnight in Moscow

I'd have thought it's a bit too small a village to host a session.

The nearest one is probably in Ayr.

Re: Midnight in Moscow

"...it had a telephone exchange and before the advent of all-number dialling it was possible to make a call to ‘Moscow’ from Kilmarnock for two pence."

....but you'd never know who was listening in.

Re: Midnight in Moscow

On a totally different subject, next time you are playing Red River Valley, try going into Midnight In Moscow - you can swap between the tunes really well.
Good Old Acker.

Re: Midnight in Moscow

Thanks
I ended up in Moscow while trying to find the Edinburgh Rd from Prestwick the other month.
At that point my attempts to convince family I wasn't lost fell in a screaming heap
