I've been fascinated by the few recordings I've heard of Patrick Ahearne.
I remember hearing some recordings of this unique West Limerick fiddler a long while ago, on Sean O'Riada's "Our Musical Heritage'
recording. I can't seem to track anything else down. Does anyone know of any other recordings ? Or where I could get to hear more?

I am given to understand that RTE Radio had recorded Mr. Ahearne some, back in the 70's. You might inquire there.
I am not sure how available any such recordings are, but you have piqued my curiosity as well -- if I have any luck, I shall pass it on to you here.
