Havent been on the.session in a while. Managed to get a computer for a couple of mins.
Anyway Im here in the beautiful town of Ballybunion at The World Fleadh and its going very well for its first year. Went to see Micheal O Suilleabhain on Monday, he was fantastic as well as Mel Mercier and Iarla O Lionaird. Tuesday was 4 Men and a Dog who really put up a good show and last night was Sean Keane who I adore and he really has been my highlight so far. Grada and Crede (Jonathon Roche the.session member as well as Crede) were very good in the Festival Club. Registered for the Master Classes with Breda Smyth on the whistle and thats also good tutoring. Ceilis are also popular, even though they wouldnt have my interest.
Looking forward to the weekend, great daily and nightly sessions in the bars especially one called the Badger Kellys which I would drink the most, they had an open session of 17 which was amazing.
Cheers Sarfly, glad you enjoyed the gig in the Festival Club, had a brilliant time down in Ballybunion. The Gig on the Town Stage Sat night was class too. So tired today ...
