"Other" Festivals / Schools / Workshops in Ireland

"Other" Festivals / Schools / Workshops in Ireland

Hi, ALL,
We're all familiar, of course, with the more well-known summer schools in Ireland - Willie Clancy, South Sligo, Joe Mooney, etc., but what about the less-well-known? I suspect there are lots of great instructors / events / festivals that are NOT affiliated with any of those particular schools. Any suggestions? Is there a good school (with the added benefit of excellent sessions) available there about which we should know? Is there a festival which would be helpful for a student musician to attend? I'd like to constructively fill the time between or around The Big Three with some additional instruction and / or the opportunity to hear great players.
Thanks a million!

The best bodhran workshop is on Innis Oir. It's called Craiceann and is held in the last week of june each year. Check out the website for more details.

Thanks, Jeremy - that one's been on my short list for three years now - gotta get there! :-) Now, if I could find something between that and South Sligo Summer School ~~~ :-)
