My first time at any of the Irish fests, and loved it!!! Thank you to all the welcoming people and fun sessions! Here's to playing with Dale, Brock, Ken, Matt, and Zan and and so many others. And mostly to my whistle teacher Louise Mulcahy -- she is the nicest and most fun! Here's to a reuinion in Cinnicinatti at the John Doyle/Liz Carroll concert in September!
It's strange how this seems to be the first year in a good few (at least 4) that there have actually been good intermediate/advanced sessions. I had a really great time playing with everybody! Some definite highlights for me would be the session on the curb with caitlin and emmanuel, (though we couldn't hear a thing, lol), solid hour of reels with Brock outside of the ceili band class, and that hour of tunes in weird keys that dale kept throwing at me in the basement friday evening. I got to know a lot of really cool people that I didn't know before and I hope to see everyone again soon! Any plans for the East Coast Tionol or O'Flaherty Retreat anyone?
this is like 5 months too late but i saw my name mentioned and just had to say i had maybe the best time of my life there. you guys going back again?

Indescribably wonderful. There is really very little else to say without explaining it in essay form.
