My maternal grandmother's maiden name was Byrne, which I'm told is a Galway name.
My father in law Mick Cruise is from Glenamaddy, East Galway.
I have a recording of Sharron Shannon, from Galway.
Last night a young box player Joe from Connemara turned up at our session, and he was fantastic.
But most importantly I recently bought my little boy Fergus a f football which was manufactured in Co. Galway.
Oh, and I bought a toilet roll once from Offally. That's near Galway.

As for that - "armpit UK bit up the top" I'll have you know that in Co's Antrim & Down you can see some of the finest scenery in Ireland Glens of Antrim, & don't forget that pile of famous stones on the north coast too, oh & you might want to visit the Distillery too.
