Border Celtic Festival

Border Celtic Festival

For those of you in the El Paso, Texas Area you have a little Festival coming your way. http://www.zianet.com/piper/celtic.htm I'll add it to the links. This is very cool to me. I grew up in El Paso. I couldn't believe that any form of Celtic music would ever take root. So much for my shortsightedness. Whereas they might be a little isolated from Celtic Music - it still found them. The festival is in it's fourth year.

How many cities or towns need a kick in the right direction? Do you live in one of those areas?

I found out about the festival and wrote them just in time to grab the last two open spots. I'll be taking ITM (90% at least) with me and I'll share the session website with everyone I speak to who cares to listen. This place is an eye opener. Wouldn't it be great if the "BUILDERS" of ITM in small communities started off with a good boost? The Session is a good boost.

Since I'll be in the El Paso area from 11/23 to Thanksgiving, Point out a session or two. If we can't session then we could meet somewhere and play up a storm anyway. Would love to meet you all. (Maybe WED eve?) - Las Cruces is not too far for me to travel - Alamagordo is too far.

Re: Border Celtic Festival

Is there no one from the greater El Paso, and Las Cruces area on the site? I guess I'll see you there then.
