Slurs with ABC Navigator 2

I can not seem to get the slur to work with this program. Am I doing it wrong?

The link to the ABC "Home Page" is a little out of date in the links section here, but you can still find it. This is it:

I have to say that if I understand it correctly, you can't do much in the way of slurs, and you certainly can't do a slur across more than one bar.
