Sessions in Europe- beyond the British Isles and Ireland
Hello: My family ( husband, teenage sons) all want to move to Europe, leaving the states. I am the only one who has an emotional investment in making sure that we go to a spot that has some type of community of Irish traditional music.
Anyone know if there is a session scene in Barcelona (the family top pick)? I am going to try to indoctrinate them by taking them to Willie week this summer, but am getting kind of nervous about being put out there in no man's land without fellow musicians....
appreciate any info on other ITM sessions in Europe ( Belgium? maybe?

whereever you go in Europe you may find even a small irish community in a reasonable distance ...
... and with ryanair Irland itself is very close. so welcome to europe - Barcelona surely is high in the charts of the european places worth to be....

Welcome to Europe! I'm sure Barcelona is a great place to go! And when you'll have some vacation, come to Britany, great place too, and very celtic!!
