hi . coming back to a previous discussion about strings , here is a link to a site where there is a very complete view / description about main strings brands, together with their costs.
It helped me to get the ones i 've been searching for ages, which suit my fiddle and my taste perfectly : the helycore.
thats just not bloody fair. I have sitting in front of me the price of Thomastik Dominant medium E Aluminium ball end $23.95
A medium was $27.95.
A tin of hidersine 3v rosin $24.95
I think my mastercard is going to get a workout
joze.... i haven't told that is a convenient site to buy strings. I haven't bought mine there either. it is just to get info on strings, and i think it is complete. Once you know what suits you, then you can buy it at your "market place"
ciao
Massimo
ps: wish good health to your mastercard
Sunnybear.... i've had a look at that site... Very interesting.... it looks like the strings i've bought are actually the right ones for me (and my fiddle) . next set i will try is pirastro flexocor permanent (i don't like syntetic strings) .
thanks & ciao
