At the recently-held CCE Convention in Chicago, there was a brilliant box player at a number of sessions. I believe he is Mike McGrarth from Kilmurry-McMahon. Anyone have contact info (email) for him? Any info about him? Thanks very much.
I've never heard of the guy. There's so many fine "unknown" musicians. I only know of one member on here living in the banner county.....Bernie is his user name. Maybe try emailing him, he also has his own website. At least it's a starting point.
BTW, Ceili House is coming from Kilrush, Co. Clare this Saturday and featuring box player Conor Keane.
Mike is from the Kilrush area. He's been out in the US for over 15 years. And he's a fantastic box player, We had great tunes all weekend, I wish I had stayed Sunday Night too.
