Stolen Fiddle

Stolen Fiddle

Hi All,

Just hoping that maybe someone might be able to help me.

My car was stolen in Dublin the 2nd of January with my fiddle in it. The cops found the car in Darndale but there is no sign of the fiddle.

The fiddle itself is in a grey fiddle shaped case. The outside is like material and it is plastic and very light. The fiddle is a very light coloured fiddle almost yellow. I can't remember who the maker is but I do know it was made in 1999.

If anyone is offered or spots a fiddle with this description could they get in contact with me as soon as possible. Any and all help is very much appreciated.

Johnny

Re: Stolen Fiddle

My goodness, Johnny, that's awful.
That's why I NEVER leave my fiddle in the car. They can steal the car, but the fiddle!
Can't help you unfortunately, being in Central Australia, but I hope you get it back.

Re: Stolen Fiddle

i had my flute stolen alot of years back, whoever stole it tried to sell it to other musicians all over the north and south of Ireland.
He never was able to get rid of it, and it was returned to me four years later, by pure chance.
It`ll come back to you, any musician worth their salt always asks after the history of the instrument. Keep the chin up.....

Can't hurt if you can come up with a few more details on it.
