Relatively new guitarist seeks musical parternship
Relatively new guitarist seeks musical parternship
Hello.
I'm fairly new to the guitar, but am getting on OK and I'm now in the market for a new instrument to aid my musical development. I'm extremely into the flat-picking and have wee hands, so am looking for one with a relatively thin neck. The flatpicking is purely for my own pleasure, (hedonistic i know) however i'm also working on my backing in the hopes of eventually sitting in on a session. I'm not particularly rich but I could probably stretch to around £500.
So, could anyone help me in my quest? I'd really appreciate some suggestions on the best makes and models that fit the criteria.

Yes, Seagulls are very well made and always an excellent value. I've played some dozens of them and for some reason am having a hard time warming up to them, despite actively wanting to, but if they're the sort of thing you like, they'll be just the sort of thing you'll like

Hi, I dont know much about decent instruments. But get an album tht JOHN BLAKE plays on.
If you can play along to this well, then you'll be laughing in a session. His style is simple, fluid and tasteful.....

May want to see if your local shop can get hold of any Seagull instruments. They are made in Canada, and are simply wonderful guitars.
