Mr. O'Kane seems to have stopped making his patented single-adjuster drum. There were problems and he was finding it difficult. Does anyone have any news on this?

My guess is that they were extremely expensive and Seamus O'Kane is in poor health these days. Mark www.markstonemusic.com

Check that. I have just heard from someone that Seamus will start making them in a few months. Mark www.markstonemusic.com
Thanks, Mark. I didn't know Seamus wasn't well. Best wishes to him. \()) ... notice the straight stick and the deep rim?

A friend of mine bought a bodhran from Seamus early this year. As I recall, the price of his standard tuning system and the new system were the same.
