On the spur of the moment, I’ve decided to head down to Nashville this week for the International Bluegrass Music Association conference. The thing is, I’m not actually all that interested in playing bluegrass—I’m mainly going to catch up with old friends and meet with a luthier who I’ve contracted to build a mandolin.
Although a bluegrass conference/festival I’m hoping that there will be a fair number of Celtic minded musicians as well. I’ve heard that they have jamming rooms set aside for different genres of music including Celtic but I couldn’t find anything about that on the web site.
Is anyone from thesession.org going? Is there anyone here that’s been in the past and could advise on the Celtic possibilities?

Re: IBMA
I'm thinking about going, probably just one day.
I don't know if I can get away. I'd like to look at a bunch of instruments, too.
It would be great to learn about/meet with/play with some ITM player in N'ville.

Re: IBMA
Oops.
Make that "... with some ITM players ...", plural.
