Hi, i'm looking for the notes of the tune "Donogh and Mike's" on the Album " The merry Harriers of Fate".
I think it's two reels, but i'm not sure.
Anyone,can help me ?
Thanks
It's the second track. The set is called Donough and Mike's. The two reels in the set are called 1st August and Windbroke. Donough is putting out a tunebook with the tunes from all three albums. Check at http://www.lunasa.ie under music links for different sheet music every couple of weeks.
Zina
You must be joking Donough was supposed to put a tune every couple of weeks but hasen't got around to it it in over a year.I asked about the tunebook also last Christmas but due to the heavy schedule no dice as yet.Still -What a band!
Alan
Yes Zina,
That's funny, on my CD it's called " Donough and Mike" but on official web site it's called "1st August and Windbroke."
Now, i can play Windbroke( after 1 hour of concentration), i will post him as i can writing in ABC.
But, it's not easy for the first tune " 1st august".
Anyone have got a better ear ??
Thanks
Jonathan

Re: Lunasa- Donogh And Mike
Do you mean the album "The Merry Sisters of Fate"?
The track listing for that album is listed in the recordings section:
http://www.thesession.org/recordings/display.php/115
but I don't see any tune or tunes called "Donogh and Mike's". Is it called something else in the track listing?

Re: Lunasa- Donogh And Mike
Lunasa is supposed to be giving lessons and workshops on 2 and 3 September here -- I'll ask them about it, shall I, Alan? *grin*
