Hi Chris
I've been wondering if and when you were going to address the triplet in your instructional section. Very nice! This bit about letting the tip "ride over" has been one I've toyed with but never really committed to due to not really knowing if it was a right direction to go.
There is some pretty good tutorial stuff out there for other instruments. Grey Larsen, for example, has a comprehensive guide for whistlers and fluters, yet I havn't found anything that really covers the banjo in a thoruogh and thoughful way. Have you ever considered doning something comprehensive?
Re: New instructional essays added at coyotebanjo.com
Here's the irony: Grey started putting together his whistle book after helping me with the CD for the Celtic Backup book. Then, of course, he vastly outstripped me in scope, detail, comprehensivity, and insight.
Oh well--keeps one humble.
Re/ a banjo book: have thought about it, but honestly, it's a comparatively limited market--we banjo players are relatively few and far between (cue jokes...)
