I'm looking at heading to ballycastle from miltown after of during willie clancy week at some point. Thought it was worth a try to see if anyone is heading that way and could maybe spare a seat? Or give me some tips on the best way of getting there. I would of course kick in for petrol and such if anyone is driving. Please drop me an email through the site if you would be up for a trip and maybe some tunes on the way .
Ben, try to get as far as Belfast first. You've a good chance of a lift that far. From Belfast you can get the bus - it's not really that far - an hour or two.
If you are going to the festival in Ballycastle after Miltown, you'd need to be arriving in Miltown before the actual willie week starts! just checked the dates there, the fairhead festival in ballycastle is 1st - 3rd July. That clashes with first weekend of the Willie Clancy festival. If you are just visiting Ballycastle after the willie week, i'd be happy to give you a lift.
