price question.

price question.

I'm travelling to Ireland in five weeks and was hoping to pick up an O'kane drum at some point in the six months i'll be staying. I was wondering if anyone has purchased a drum from him recently and could give me an idea of what he is charging?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Ben.

Re: price question.

Hey Ben,

Last I heard he was not taking orders for a while. You may wish to contact him directly and make a visit if you can. His web site is: http://www.tradcentre.com/seamus/index.shtml Have a great trip.

Peace,
Ed

Re: price question.

The last I heard his bodhráns were around 300 Euro. This was prior to his not taking orders for a while, just after the new tuning system was introduced.

Peace,
Ed

Yea 300 is about right but I heard he has a 6 year waiting list as it is!

Re: price question.

Try Eamon Maguire in Belfast, cheaper and no waiting list if you are a tourist.
