There's an Irish dance group called "Shaylyn"? Wow, that's the name my wife and I gave our younger daughter (although we spell it without that first "y"). We always thought it was something we just made up, based on a combination of a couple of family names. Did we unknowingly channel from Celtic/Gaelic culture?
I'll have to tell my daughter, whose resistance to traditional music has been ebbing for the past few years. Might make her turn completely to the "folk side."
