Hello All ,just been listening to a top drawer traditional CD ,Paul O Shaughnessy ,Fiddle /Flute ,Harry Bradley Flute and John Blake,Bouzouki .it is a treasure of lively tunes with sources as John Doherty, Paddy Killoran ,O Neills Book ,M Coleman ,if you love your Music ,You will enjoy these lads ,great cd notes by Harry and intro by Terry Moylan,another must have ,must keep listening cd.Well Done Harry and the Lads,Martin

Very nice line-up! Sounds like it should be a great album, unless someone beat them up on the way to the recording studio, stole their instruments, and made them all play plastic recorders and tamborines and those party whistles (with the spiralling paper tube attachment). (Wouldn't that make a great album review?)
Seriously though, the album sounds great! Get your wallets, cheque books/credit cards out!!!

I got it almost directly from their hands one month ago. They came to Japan for concerts and workshops! Surprisingly Harry doesn't play any tune from McKenna or Morrison this time. They play tunes from various sources but mostly focus on northern traditions, just like in McGrattan & O'Shaughnessy's "Within a Mile of Dublin."
Harry and Paul are both powerful players but beautifully complement each other. Very exciting recording, indeed. But it's actually more intimate and quieter than any other one they have made, I think.
