Kevin, I'm eagerly awaiting WFO3. The first two compilations are always in my cd tray--I really enjoy the variety, and you've done well in choosing interesting tracks (besides a tremendous cross section of different fluters and flutes). The WFO3 line-up looks like another winner. Keep up the great work!
Scott, discussed w/Dale Wisely @ Chiff & Fipple - probably harder to select whistle players, & many already double on flute & other instruments. There were also other whistle compilations already released.
Sorry, no offense meant. I saw from your profile, Laura Kerr, musician, from Lurgan, thinking you might be a possible relation to Barry Kerr, also from Lurgan, who appears on Wooden Flute Obsession 1. Coincidence? If true, just that you would not be considered a disinterested party. The online definitions, however, were a bit harsher than my intended reference:
Ringer \Ring"er\, n. (Horse Racing) A horse that is not entitled to take part in a race, but is fraudulently got into it. [1913 Webster]
3: a contestant entered in a competition under false pretenses
Wooden Flute Obsession 3
Wooden Flute Obsession 3
here's a partial tentative artist list for Wooden Flute Obsession volume 3 on the Web at http://www.worldtrad.org/WFO3_CD2.htm
Other flute players are in the process of being contacted regarding the project.
Please don't scare them away.

Laura, you're a ringer, right?
