Re: New to this website . . .

Born in San Francisco, living now between Boulder and Denver, played viola in school, huge gap, and then Irish fiddle from about two years back. By the way, there's lots more info on everyone in past threads with just this topic. :) We usually have one every few months or so.

Re: New to this website . . .

My name is Jill. Aussie, but been around a bit. I've been playing ITM for about ten years all up. Geeking it at the moment, though unfortunately. Jamie, pack heaps of sunscreen and remember to slip-slop-slap. I've seen a few Irish lobsters .... Swedish lobsters ... English lobsters ... German lobsters down under. Its cool to wear a hat. Sunstroke is no fun (but at the moment here its cold enough to snow).
Cheers

Re: New to this website . . .

Born in Dallas, Tx lived in Little Rock, AR, Annapolis, MD, NYC area, and Scottsdale, AZ. Was moving back to NYC on Sept 11 and decided to stop back in Little Rock for a while. I can't imagine I'll be here much longer as my boyfriend lives in Fort Worth, TX. *sigh*

I started playing fiddle, for the second time in my life, in January.

Re: New to this website . . .

Have to definately catch up wackadack! send me an email and i'll get in touch (maybe when i'm in edinburgh next?)

Speaking of sun (or lack thereof) had my first experience with midges at the weekend - aaaaaarrrrgggh. We were playing at the arran festival, i was supposed to take the ferry back in the afternoon (as i had work on monday!) ended up sitting outside on the grass playing tunes and drinking beer until well after the ferry left, and well on into the night, getting bitten by midges in the process, now i have bite marks all over me and can't stop scratching!!! Still, was worth it for the tunes!, Ended up missing work monday, but they'll get over it (already have infact, they just thought i had a hangover, when in actual fact i only got the hangover after i realised i wasn't going to work, so thats ok really! gotta love that!!
