Previously held near Lisburn, County Antrim (alas, for not nearly long enough) under its former name of The Flower of Maghaberry, the newly rebranded Madra ar Buile Festival has relocated to Bolton. Expect the usual emphasis on flutes and drums. The future looks far from rosy, however; rumours persist that the festival is likely to be cancelled imminently and with extreme prejudice.
I think this one was a little confined in it's former abode. However, I can't see a great future in Bolton. There are always people who want to knock the stuffing out of drummers!
