Well, I can't seem to get Max to send me the files I need, some blather about his schoolwork and such, I mean, what priorities, honestly, what do they teach kids these days? ;)
I think we must write Max off on this one. What are our options? How many files are still needed and can they be re-gotten? I'll happily offer server space for people to upload to temporarily if it's needed.
Yup, it did. But we got much further this time. I'm still waiting on a couple of files, but I'm not sure from whom, and I need all the bio info again. Tusong (Sandy) should still have all the mp3s. Do you guys want to send me your bio info again? Include a pic of yourself if you like, your real name, your nickname here at the Session if that applies, the part of the world you come from, and any info about your tunes that you'd like to include.
This sounds a horrible thing to say but I'm secretly glad because I cringe whenever I hear my track, so maybe now I'm safe! It would have been good to hear other people's though.
All the tracks submitted so far have been mastered and ready to go for many months. Zina has had family concerns (we all wish her and her family the best) and Max has flown the coop, so I say let's get this project wrapped up the best we can and as quick as possible. We may have to lower our sights a bit but that's Zina's call. Stragglers are out of luck, the deadline was last March!!!, then moved to April, then June.
I'm going to send Zina what I've got done (mastered tracks of all files submitted so far, about 2 hours of tracks) and be done with it. I'll be sending her everyones original media as well (CD's, minidisks, cassettes). I think Emily was the only one who specifically requested her minidisk back.
Zina, email me your mailing address.
Mark, I'll be keeping a copy for evidence. No-one is safe.

I did do a track but, like Dow, was not very happy with it. If it's being redone by Zina I'll re-record and send it in.
