I ask cos I'm moving there in February from Glasgow. I'll be leaving glasgow fiddle workshop and some great sessions behind (sob!) and I'm hoping to find something down there to replace them.
It's scottish fiddle music I play, but I from what I see in the sessions listed, the sessions down that way are irish. Where are the best ones to go to? I guess a year or so of irish music won't kill me
On the subject of Kevin tho - we're going to see him on Sunday - looking forward to it - more cos he's playing with Archie McAllister and Aidan O'Rourke tho. I've never heard Kevin before.
Hi Carazz,
Good concert wasn't it. Pity it was the last at this venue.
By the way, did you look at the ticket stub?
and I quote
"Folk evening with Irish Folk Singer Kevin Burke"
Can't remember him singing a note, can you.
See you again sometime.
Kevin Burke
