http://www.dmusic.com has a celtic category (under World Music I think) and lets you upload about 75Mb of your MP3 files with space for you to run a performer bio, run a mailing list, post your band news and that sort of stuff.
Your tracks are also entered into an informal competition (no prize) where the downloads of your recordings and community ratings move you up or down in a Best Picks list; there's also a pure popularity Top-200 for each genre. Don't be turned off by the overwhelming amount of techno on the site -- that's where their roots are and (bad) techno is also very cheap to produce, but it's a good deal, fair to musicians, and there's certainly room for more Irish music on this site.
I know I'd LOVE to hear what you all sound like
DMusic also has agreements with the royalty rights orgs that allows you to upload cover songs (increasingly a problem as the slime-bucket lawyers buy up ancient family rights to trad tunes)
Another alternative that's a little more formal, http://music.download.com is the successor to MP3.com -- submissions are reviewed and must pass by their judges to be posted; while EVERYONE can have a song to sing on dmusic.com (which, IMHO, is how it should be) Download.com intends to be the world's Indie Record Store.
You can use Music For Dozens to feature your music on your site. Your uploads are available immediately, and you have a choice of players that you can post on your site. It's free, and you can also sell downloads and CDs.

Why don't you use the Yahoo! briefcase facility?
