Just got a Back Axe for my Octave Mandolin today. Its great!! Free's my hands to carry other instruments or whatever when I travel to the sessions in Tokyo. They have a smaller size for fiddles too.
I've looked at the Back Axe site. Seems like a pretty good product, but I don't think I'm quite ready to carry my cello on my back when riding a bike

Excellent find, Brad. I'm still trying to transport the fiddle safely on the bike.
